The Shire Buckingham Summerhouse, constructed from tongue and groove throughout, provides a stylish retreat in the garden for relaxation, dining and entertaining.
Constructed from 12mm shiplap tongue and groove cladding, the pretty summerhouse is supported by a strong 34x34mm frame. The durable floor are both also 12mm tongue and groove, well-known for its weather resistance and strength for many years of use. The roof is finished in felt and features an attractive overhang with pretty scalloped barge boards.
The three-quarter glazed doors, along with the opening window, offer ample light and ventilation. The Georgian styling is complemented by traditional black latch.
This summerhouse is supplied dip treated with a 10-year anti-rot guarantee, when supported with annual retreatment. An upgrade to a top coat is available for this garden building. This top coat is a wood stain that provides a waterproof coating to resist algal and fungal attack. It nourishes the wood to provide year-round colour and protection. Two coats are applied, by the manufacturer, to both the interior and exterior of the building. As a dip-treated summer house, it is usually recommended that the customer apply a treatment upon assembly; this top coat eliminates the need to do so. The colour of this stain is called “gold” which is an orangey-yellow.
