The 12mm shiplap tongue and groove cladding is supported by an impressive 44mm x 44mm frame, providing a real sense of solidity. The floor and pent roof are also made from premium 12mm tongue and groove timber, the latter boasting a mineral felt covering to keep out the rain.

The 8’6 x 5’7 summerhouse section features 4 fully-glazed, bi-fold doors, which lead onto a 2-foot deep decked area, whilst 2 additional full-length windows ensure that the interior receives an abundance of natural light. Every window is constructed from near-unbreakable plastic safety glazing.

The shed area measures 2’9 x 7’10 making it an invaluable storage facility. Both the bi-fold doors and the fully-framed shed door can be secured by a key operated lock, so this home office’s contents are always safe.

This summerhouse is supplied dip treated with a 10-year anti-rot guarantee, when supported with annual retreatment. An upgrade to a top coat is available for this garden building. This top coat is a wood stain that provides a waterproof coating to resist algal and fungal attack. It nourishes the wood to provide year-round colour and protection. Two coats are applied, by the manufacturer, to both the interior and exterior of the summer house. As a dip-treated building, it is usually recommended that the customer apply a treatment upon assembly; this top coat eliminates the need to do so. The colour of this stain is called “gold” which is an orangey-yellow.
